Joey Daniels: Abused, violence, 25 inside, contracting, despair

“I remember when I was six some kids tried to take a few sweets off me – I didn’t get that many in this school-place so I got a bread knife to him and he never did it again.” His first crimes were thefts and he moved on to more serious offences, eventually being jailed for violent crimes. The infamous Kray Twins went down at a similar time to his dad, and he saw them as his heroes and role models in how to live life. Joey is now all about trying to prevent other people following his path, and talking of how God turned things 180 degrees around when he’d given up.
